The Planning & Cost Control Engineer plays a key role in ensuring projects are executed within approved budgets and timelines. The role involves monitoring expenditures, preparing forecasts, developing budgets, and delivering cost-control reports and analysis to support the Operations team.

• Provide planning and cost-control support across all ongoing projects, including milestone tracking and variation reporting.
• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project budgets and cash flow plans.
• Monitor total project expenditures and verify invoices and claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review cost estimates and recommend improvements to strengthen future budgeting and procurement processes.
• Manage and maintain project accounting and cost-tracking databases.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, progress reports, and cost reports for management review.
• Support accounts receivable in billing processes and monitor billing status to ensure timely collection.
• Maintain strong vendor and service provider relationships to support project execution.
• Ensure full compliance with company HSE and internal control policies.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Operations Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project cost control and planning.
• Experience in the construction or engineering industry preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of planning software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic is an advantage).
• Experience working with international or multicultural teams is preferred.
